          Mrs. Wug: "WOW! He still looks so young!''....*** I was talking about Mr. T, the actor known for his role as B. A. Baracus in the 1980s television series "The A-Team". I saw him on a commercial on television while I was channel surfing. ***

Mr. Wug: "He's a Cancer survivor." 

           Mrs. Wug: O_0 .....*** That's the look I have on my face sometimes when hubby and I have conversations. It sometimes seems like we're two conversation ships, passing in the night....

          Mrs. Wug: "Cancer doesn't make someone look younger!" O_0

Mr. Wug: "Noooo! I didn't mean that!...I meant that it's amazing that he looks so young considering that he's a Cancer survivor!"

          Mrs. Wug: "Ohhhhhhh! Well why didn't you say that?!"

Mr. Wug: "I did say that!...Well,...I didn't say it in so many words!...But you knew what I meant!"

          O_0 ...*** Clearly I didn't know what he meant!!...

          ....In fact, that happens a lot!! LOL...The other night I was in the bedroom watching American Idol. Hubby was in the kitchen washing a couple of dishes we had dessert on. He was taking sooooo long to come back...

          Mrs. Wug:  "What are you doing?!" ...*** It had been about 20 minutes!! ***

          He didn't answer at first...Another few minutes went by and I yelled the same thing....Grrrrr!...He finally hollered back:


Mr. Wug: "Washing the dishes!!"..Grrrr!

          Mrs. Wug: "I don't hear any water!"...*** In fact, it had been dead quiet in there for quite a few minutes! ***

          He came in the room annoyed, in a huff kinda, and showed me his wet hands:

Mr. Wug: "See!!"..."You're so suspicious!!"...Grrrr!

          Mrs. Wug: O_0 ......"WOW!...Where did that come from?!!...Just because I asked what you were doing?!!"

Mr. Wug: "Yeah! What did you think I was doing?!!"

          Mrs. Wug: "I don't know! That's  why I asked!!"

Mr. Wug: "I told you I was washing dishes!"

          Mrs. Wug: "Yeah, but there wasn't any water running!!"

Mr. Wug: "I know! Because I was drying up the sink and countertop!"

          Mrs. Wug: "Well, why did you say you were washing dishes?!"

Mr. Wug: "Because that's what I was doing! The dishes were all done and I was drying up the sink! It's all the same thing!"

          Mrs. Wug: O_0 ........Is it just me?...or is there some interference in the force?!....The husband and wife conversation force, I mean?!....Ha! Ha!.....As Yul Brenner said in 'The King and I': "Is a puzzlement!" ^_^

      Mrs. Wug: You know...I was looking around on the Etsy site and I'm just amazed at how quick...and creative...people are! The big game...the Super Bowl, Baby! ^_^...is on this Sunday, and you should see the things people have been selling! I wish I had been that savvy weeks ago in preparation for the game!....Me....I've just been waiting to eat Super Bowl food!! ^_^

Mr. Wug: You're not the only one! That's all everybody at my job is talking about...is Super Bowl food!...One guy is actually looking forward to having him a 'turducken'! Ha! Ha!

        Mrs. Wug: What in the world is a 'turducken'?! O_0

Mr. Wug: Well, he said it's a boneless turkey that's stuffed with boneless duck, and then the boneless duck is stuffed with chicken! ^_^ He said it was good, but I laughed because I didn't think there was any such thing!

       Mrs. Wug: What????!!!!!!!.....Okay, I gotta go and see if Wikipedia has any info on this....I think he was pulling your leg!

      Mrs. Wug: Guess what?!....There really is such a thing as a turducken!!!!!! ^_^ Wikipedia even had a picture of one!! Look at this...

             ...And your guy's description was just about on the money too. Wikipedia says that a "Turducken is a dish consisting of a de-boned chicken stuffed into a de-boned duck, which itself is stuffed into a de-boned turkey. The word turducken is a portmanteau {a blend of two or more words into one new word} of turkey, duck, and chicken or hen. The dish is a form of engastration,  a recipe method in which one animal is stuffed inside the gastric passage of another."...WOW! I can't believe I lived fifty plus years without ever hearing about a turducken!! ^_^

Mr. Wug: And I wouldn't believe it either...if I didn't see it!! ^_^

        Mrs. Wug: And even so, I'm not having turducken for the Super Bowl...just so you know!!!! Ha! Ha!

          Mrs. Wug: That reminds me, we haven't decided what we ARE having Sunday, for the game...food-wise! ...I know one thing that's definitely gonna be on the list....hot wings!! :-) And I don't mean chicken wings that are doused in some kind of sauce either! I'm talking about spicy seasonings on regular...non-gooey...chicken wings!!...

Sisters...The Driving Force!

          Mrs. Wug: I think it's pretty cool that your sister comes all the way from the south, and my sister...who I haven't talked to in months and months...both converged on our weekend at the same time! :-)

Mr. Wug: Yeah, that 'is' pretty cool! And 'my' sister got to see all of her brothers and sisters while she was here! :-)

        Mrs. Wug: I know...and she got to see all of my scarves too!...*Teehee*

Mr. Wug: *Teehee*...Yeah, she really looked good in the scarf...and the hat...too!...

        ...and I think her suggestion about you selling hats and scarves together was a pretty good idea too! She looked really good in hers! :-]

          Mrs. Wug: I know. She sure did!...

          ...And I might just have to take her up on her suggestion! ^_^ She works where they sell lots of yarns and fabrics, and she told me yesterday that people are really into that now. So, me taking her up on her suggestion may just be the driving force behind my next big Wuglyees shop push!! 

Mr. Wug:  Speaking of driving, she sure did do her share of driving this week!! First, she drove all the way up here from down south with her cousin. Then she drove all over the place visiting and staying with relatives!...Usually she doesn't drive when she's up. But she figured out how to program that GPS this time so she wouldn't get lost, and it was 'on'!!! LOL She really amazed herself...and me! ^_^

          Mrs. Wug: And me!! LOL I couldn't believe it when she told me she was by herself when she came over the other day!! ^_^ You-Go-Sis!!!...Just watching and listening to her with all of you showed me that it's not just cars that she's a driving force for either! ^_^

Mr. Wug: That's true. :-) She's a driving force for the family...And I'm glad she got to see dad in the facility. Hopefully it eased her fears about how he's doing. He really perked up while she was here too! I hadn't seen him like that in a while! She said he was asking all kinds of questions that I didn't even know he was thinking about! And asking about people that I don't even know...but my sister knew them...Yes, she truly is a driving force. :-]

          Mrs. Wug: :-] Usually I like to give you a hard time on these posts, but you're in such a good mood now that you've been spending some time with your sister, that I'm not gonna bother you...much! ^_^ But rest assured...one day soon the story of why you left your shoes outside the other day will have to be told!! LOL

'To Be....Butter, Or Not To Be....Butter'!

Mr. Wug: What difference does it make if I use margarine or butter in your cookie recipe?! I'm using butter. Will the cookies come out flatter or fluffier or cake-ier?!

          Mrs. Wug: Actually, it doesn't really matter which one you use...I don't think. I just never used the margarine that the recipe called for.

Mr. Wug: Really? So you 'always' used butter, even though you saw that the recipe called for margarine?

          Mrs. Wug: Yeah, I think that if there's a choice between the 'real stuff', versus the 'fake stuff'....'real stuff' should win! LOL Besides, I like my cookies tasting rich, and a little bit crispier. The butter makes them a little bit crispier...But you go ahead and put the margarine in there like the recipe called for. Your cookies will come out nice and round and perfect..just like you like them! :-)

Mr. Wug: I guess I would say...I don't have any margarine. I have butter, so I'm just gonna use butter!...especially if you say it tastes better!....I asked because I saw you had margarine scratched out, and butter inserted, on the recipe. I didn't know if it would make a difference.

          Mrs. Wug: Well, I can tell you...butter ALWAYS makes a difference!...Of course there is the down side.

Mr. Wug: What's that? O_O

          Mrs. Wug: Margarine goes into your body like a tourist. It wanders around here and there, looks around, and leaves...without spending too much money on gifts. :-)) ...Butter goes into your body, finds your major arteries, grabs them by the teeth like a junkyard dog, growls and gnaws at them...until you're dead! LOL

          Mrs. Wug: Well, forget about the margarine...BUTTER it is!!...but maybe what you can do is just don't eat that many cookies. :-)

          Mrs. Wug: What are you talking about?!...I never say that!!!...I don't even eat yogurt!

Mr. Wug: Okay...Okay! That's a bad example. But you know what I mean...like you'll say: "I can really go for some pancakes, covered with strawberries, and some whip cream, and some blueberries, and then have it covered with pineapples...with a side of sausages!" LOL

          Mrs. Wug: Uhhh....and what's wrong with that?! LOL That sounds even better than cereal!....Yum!....Now I'm hungry! :-]

          Mrs. Wug: What's weird about it?! In the restaurants they always make you have to choose one fruit to go on your pancakes. Why can't you have more than one...It's fruit!!...And it's good for you!! And the acid in the pineapples can cut some of that pancake batter too! ^_^ What's weird about that?!.....I think putting Ketchup on collard greens is weird!...and you do that!...

Mr. Wug: Well, I like 'em that way!...Just like I like my oatmeal, with some eggs and sausage all mixed in together!...That is a perfect bite right there!...like on 'The Mirror Has Two Faces", when she loaded her spoon with just the right amount of everything so she could have 'the perfect bite'! :-)) ....Or even better, how about some grits, egg, sausage, and a side of bacon with some wheat toast covered with grape jelly...
